The wall... (9th Oct)

We went to the great wall by bus, it was a really long drive (a couple of hours...) When we finally got there we started climbing the wall... the steps are really steep and sometimes slippery. There were again millions of people asking if they can have photo's with us so it took about 2 hours to get to the top... It was really tiring!!! When we finally got to the top we took lots of photo's with us and the WA flag, the Oberthur and the Bateman flag. We got in trouble by a policeman because you're not allowed any flags on the wall besides the chinese flag... The policeman got really angry but we still got some photo's... Then we had to climb all the way down again... which took another couple of hours. When we got back to the bus we went to the Ming tombs, like a chinese pyramid underground. It was pretty cool, some emperors were married to like 5 people.

Im now at my homestay, they can't speak english at all!!! they use this translator thing the whole time and when they try to speak normal english it doesnt make sense at all so they start using the translator thing again... but it's pretty funny trying to talk with hands and feet...

Thanx to JANICE for posting soo many comments

Dag Demy,
